Papayo

Bourbon Papayo, also called Ombligón for its distinctive “belly‑button” cherry shape, is a rare Bourbon mutation found in Colombia. Its elongated fruit and unusual seed morphology hint at its striking cup: bright tropical fruit, sweet citrus, and a silky, buoyant texture. Known for its lively acidity and playful aromatics, Papayo/Ombligón stands out as one of the most charismatic and naturally expressive Bourbon variants.
