From the sun-dappled slopes of Finca Amazonas in Belén de Umbría, where mist and mountain meet at 2200 MASL, a new varietal emerges with quiet brilliance. Cultivated by David Gallego, this washed Orange Bourbon is a bright, citrus-kissed expression of the land’s living rhythm.

Here, native bees move gently through the orchard-like rows, pollinating with purpose and deepening the harmony between plant and place. Their presence is a quiet force—one that hums beneath every note in the cup.

The aroma is citrusy and sweet, like the first peel of an orange at dawn. On the palate, it opens with the crispness of apple, the brightness of citrus, and a whisper of sweet spice, all carried by a medium juicy body. The acidity is bright and medium, shifting from hot citric to cool malic as the cup evolves. The finish lingers with a sweet, citric echo, like sunlight caught in amber.
